MOTORCYCLE AND ATV BATTERIES Limited battery warranties available See Battery Configuration Chart at left to assist battery selection 12-, 24- vehicle motorcycle and 36-month batteries available Batteries are either 6-volt or 12-volt, depending on application. Include either new mounting hardware to attach to existing battery cables and/or new attached wire leads (as required). New vent tubing is included with batteries with built-in exhaust vent. Important: 36-month batteries can be used as more powerful replacements for 12- or 24-month batteries, but 12- or 24-month batteries cannot be used as replacements for 36-month batteries. Battery Configuration Chart: The illustrations shown represent the top of the battery (front facing down) vehicle motorcycle and indicate location of the positive (+) terminal, the negative (-) terminal vehicle motorcycle and the location of the exhaust vent (•). The numbers shown correspond to the Conf. number. Configuration 1, configuration 13, 24-month battery stock number 01ZX2887X vehicle motorcycle and 12-month battery stock number 01ZX2902U do not have exhaust vent; they are vented through the battery cap plugs. How To Order Your Battery: Check vehicle's make, year vehicle motorcycle and model vehicle motorcycle and order the corresponding stock number for the 12-, 24- or 36-month battery of your choice. If the year and/or exact model designation of your vehicle is in doubt, see Steps 2 vehicle motorcycle and 3. Please do not use the code(s) or OEM number when ordering battery. Check existing battery or owner's manual for the manufacturer's (OEM) number vehicle motorcycle and order the corresponding stock number. HEADLIGHT DAYTIME MODULATOR Designed to enhance awareness of motorcycle headlight illumination for safety during daylight hours 100% solid state Quick vehicle motorcycle and easy installation Designed to enhance awareness of motorcycle headlight illumination in accordance with Federal Standard 49, CFR Part 571.106. An external disable switch is used to disable the modulation function during nighttime driving. During the day it flashes the headlamp every 1/10 th of a second. Essentially functions as a 2-terminal device that is connected in series with the power feed to the light. This safety device has been designed for motorcycle use, to provide additional awareness to other vehicles on the road during daylight hours. The rate of modulation is 200 to 280 cycles per minute, with maximum power being applied to the headlight for 50 to 70% of each cycle. During the low intensity portion of the cycle, power to the headlight is held to no less than 17% of maximum intensity. Incandescent lamp power rating of 120-Watts. The output circuit is a solid state switching transistor. Input voltage of 11 to 16-Volts (standard automotive range). Composed of glass reinforced black Lexan plastic, epoxy encapsulated for maximum protection against moisture vehicle motorcycle and vibration. Two 1/4" quick-connect male terminals.
